Hi, my name is Matthew Lynch, and I am an all-round nerd from Queensland, Australia.
I have been involved in web development since 1999, as an analyst & developer for 12 years, before shifting my focus to strategy & management in early 2011.
I currently hold the position of General Manager at Tatts Online, the team behind Tatts.com—Australia's leading lotteries & wagering website.
While my professional focus is now strategy & management, I still love to program, and continue to do so whenever I can. I am also passionate about mathematics, robotics, and all things science.
My passion for subjects like software development, science & mathematics occasionally leads me to write an article, or to share snippets of knowledge.
The quality & quantity of my articles varies quite a lot, but as an extension of my passion, I truly hope that they are of some interest or help to others.
To keep my knowledge fresh, I will often undertake little projects to explore new fields & technologies.
My projects are just hobbies, but if you are into robots, games & software development, or electronics, then you might just find something to spark your interest.
I am an avid reader, and like most people in my generation, a huge fan of computer games.
When time allows, I like to combine these interests with my love of writing, and prepare reviews of the books & games I enjoy the most.
